DR. DANNY SOUDER

Dr. Danny Souder has been married to his wife Karen for over 40 years. They have two grown children Shelley and Scott, and one grandaughter, Ava. Danny is from Hurst, Texas and Karen is from Fort Worth, Texas.

• Danny was licensed and ordained by the First Baptist Church – Hurst, Texas.

• Danny graduated from Texas Christian University with a BA in 1967.

• Danny then proceeded to study at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 1976.

• Danny graduated from Luther Rice Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry in 2007. Danny’s dissertation was titled “A Prayer Strategy for a Plateaued/Declining Church”. Danny has a passion, burden and desire to strengthen churches and help churches, pastors and leaders to turn around and grow again.

• Danny served in 3 churches in Florida and Texas as a Senior Pastor for 24 years.

• Danny has served in various capacities on several boards for the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

• Danny greatly enjoys preaching the word of God and has served as an Interim Pastor at several locations while doing his mission work.

• Danny has served as a chaplain to the Dallas Police Department since 1986.

• Danny's lifelong hobby is hunting. He also serves as a professional hunting guide for deer, elk and turkey and leads Christian Outdoor Ministry - a discipleship ministry that brings parents and their children together as they hunt and experience the outdoors in a Christian environment.
